Ellagic acid powder is an organic substance with a chemical formula of C14H6O8, a polyphenol dilactone, and a dimeric derivative of gallic acid. A natural polyphenol component that widely exists in various soft fruits, nuts and other plant tissues. The color reaction with ferric chloride is blue, and it is yellow when it meets sulfuric acid.
