Product Description

Icariin is the main active component of Epimedium and is an 8-prenyl flavonoid glycoside compound. It can be extracted from the dried stems and leaves of Epimedium arrowleaf, Epimedium pilosa, Wushan Epimedium, and Korean Epimedium. It is light yellow needle crystal. The aboveground part of Epimedium mainly contains flavonoids, and the underground part mainly contains flavonoids and alkaloids. Icariin can increase cardiovascular and cerebrovascular blood flow, promote hematopoietic function, immune function and bone metabolism. It also has kidney-tonifying, anti-aging and other effects.
